Rassoul Edji

Congratulations to Escapee Rassoul Edji who is now a Senior Texturing & LookDev Artist at MPC.  Rassoul studied the Art of VFX at Escape Studios, and also directed the award-winning short film "Seeker", which has won multiple festival awards.

Rassoul joins many Escapees you have joined MPC after leaving Escape Studios, including animation students Emily Lim, Maria Casanueva, Chan Sagoo,  Daniel Amor, Joseph Sciberras, Amanda Costa, Elena Scala, and Stephen Mealand.

We're delighted that Rassoul has found work at MPC - one of the UK's biggest and most successful VFX houses, working on blockbuster hits such as "The Lion King".

"Seeker" was directed by Rassoul Edji, produced by Tosin Ogunleye, and overseen by supervising tutors Jonathan McFall and Allar Kaasik.

Festival Awards

"Seeker", has won multiple festival awards, including "Best VFX" at the Flicks Film Festival in London, Best Low Budget Film at the Assurdo Film Festival in Milan, "Best Short" at Lisbon Film Fest, and "Best Cinematography" at the European Film Festival.  

The film was also a finalist in the 2020 Rookies, and was nominated for Best Director at the Prague Film Festival.
