Callum Wylie Animation Intern at Blue Zoo

Callum Wylie

Many congratulations to Escapee Callum Wylie who has begun an internship with London-based animation studio Blue Zoo, responsible for animated hits such as the BAFTA and Emmy-award winning "Paddington" series. 

While at Escape Studios, Callum contributed to a number of short films.  In 2019 Callum produced the adventure-horror trailer "Death from Above", which has won multiple festival awards. 

Callum also contributed to three other films at Escape Studios: Street Ratz, Quarantine Chorus and Slushy, all of which have won festival awards.

Blue Zoo

Blue Zoo is one of the UK's most successful animation studios, responsible for many hit TV series, commercials and also ground-breaking short films.  Their internships are paid, and also highly competitive.

Callum Wylie

Callum studied the Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios. In 2019 Callum produced the adventure-horror trailer "Death from Above", which has won multiple festival awards. Callum also worked as an animator on Street Ratz, Quarantine Chorus and Slushy.

• Jamie Floodgate: Jamie joined Blue Zoo in August 2019 as a junior animator, having graduated from our 12 week course in animation
• Storyboard artist Fred O'Rourke, who joined Blue Zoo in July 2018
• Animator Marc Godfrey, who started as an animator at Blue Zoo in 2015
