Amarok Wins Best Trailer at Art Film Fest

Congratulations to the makers of "Amarok", which has won its second festival award: "Best Trailer" at the Art Film Awards. 

Amarok was written and directed by Shenaaz Suliman, co-written by Simone Fraser, produced by Josiah Martin-Lofters, and edited by Cameron Haley.  Amarok is a trailer for a web series about a First Nations police detective in Northern Canada.

Second Year Undergraduate Studio Module 
Amarok was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, a collaborative module in which second-year animation students work together on short film projects, simulating as closely as possible the workings of a real animation studio.  

About Amarok
Amarok was directed by Shenaaz Suliman, written by Shenaaz Suliman and Simone Fraser, produced by Josiah Martin-Lofters, and edited by Cameron Haley.  

Series in Development
Amarok is a trailer for a new web series, now in development, about a First Nations police detective in a remote town in Northern Canada. A curfew is imposed as a killer wolf stalks the community.

Festival Success
This is the third festival success for Amarok, which was nominated for "Best Trailer" at The Monthly Film Festival, and won Best Trailer at the Vesuvius Film Festival.
