Congratulations to Escapee Paloma Zhu who has just joined Passion Pictures as an animator. 

Passion Pictures is one of London's longest-established boutique animation houses; responsible for multiple award-winning commercials and short films. 

While at Escape Studios, Paloma personally directed two award-winning films: "Hotel Aloha" and "Kiwi's Dream" and contributed her talent as an animator and art director to many others.  Paloma also worked at Escape Studios as a Studio Assistant, and also recorded video tutorials to our expanding Vimeo Channel.

While studying at Escape Studios, Paloma created a parkour animation tutorial for our Vimeo Channel, which you can find here. Like all our videos, it is password-protected, but available to all our current students and recent Escapees. 

During her second year of studies at Escape Studios, Paloma ranked third in the October 2019 Eleven Second Club - a remarkable achievement for an undergraduate animation student. 

Paloma was art director on the short film "Malloe", which has won multiple festival awards.
